About the Stockport SEND Board
The Stockport SEND Board is our Local Area Partnership group that brings together leaders from education, health, social care, and the voluntary sector, alongside parent and carer representatives.
Their vision is for all children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to have the best start in life, so they’re happy, prepared for adulthood, and able to achieve their goals. We want families to feel supported, confident, resilient, and connected to their community.
On the SEND Board page you will find information regarding what the SEND Board does, their principles and values, details of the board members and how the board works, plus summaries of topics discussed at each bi-monthly meeting.
