Cedars – Curriculum

Liaison with the student’s mainstream/special school will take place to ensure they access an appropriate and relevant curriculum. A thematic curriculum is in place to provide access to the following core subjects at KS3, KS4 and GCSE level:

The thematic curriculum will be taught to National Curriculum guidelines. If appropriate, all students will have the opportunity to follow examination courses to GCSE and Entry Level including Functional skills. All subjects will be taught in small groups, with learning activities devised to cater for differences in ability.
